Detroit News
With the most up-to-date newspaper printing plant in the nation, a redesign for The Detroit News with a “loud, jump-off-the-page look,” was championed by News Design Director, Rick Epps.
David Berlow’s Titling Gothic FB dared the in-house team to confront its various weights and widths with distinction, becoming the first English-language newspaper to use the typeface in their major structure.
Font Bureau also offered adjustments to the nameplate and Matthew Carter’s Miller Headline and Miller Daily supplied the sophistication. FB2005
