Font Bureau is a founding member of Type Network, a new model for type design, development, licensing, and use. Owned and operated by type designers, Type Network features a common catalog and shopping cart offering fonts from Font Bureau and other member foundries.
Font Bureau’s current licenses, with no changes to existing terms, are now served through Type Network.
In 1938, French designer Charles Loupot drew a revolutionary logotype to promote St. Raphael aperitif wine. Half a century later, the qualities of this logo inspired New York designer and illustrator Laurie Rosenwald to work with Boston type designer Cyrus Highsmith in expanding it into a typeface. At once industrial and calligraphic in style, Loupot is one of the few scripts that offers a truly successful all-capital setting; FB 1998
