Font Bureau is a founding member of Type Network, a new model for type design, development, licensing, and use. Owned and operated by type designers, Type Network features a common catalog and shopping cart offering fonts from Font Bureau and other member foundries.
Font Bureau’s current licenses, with no changes to existing terms, are now served through Type Network.

Looking back to the exuberant typography used by the Hearst publications in the early 20th century, Roger Black decided to use an updated Jenson as the foundation of his redesign of the Houston Chronicle. Christian Schwartz’s sturdy, newsy interpretation takes most of its cues from British Monotype’s Italian Oldstyle, itself an interpretation of William Morris’s Golden Type, but also borrows eccentric details from Nebiolo’s; FB 2003
