With a limited set of weights and widths this type has held a leading position among American sanserifs for nearly a century. Under the name Benton Sans, Font Bureau has filled out News Gothic design to a complete set of widths and weights for text and display. Benton Sans is already establishing a position with newspapers and magazines, a classical sanserif with an adaptable nature, useful for heads and small text.
